Photo Manipulation

While at Algonquin College I learned that post-production is a very important and/or necessary part of the photography.

That being said it is very easy to misuse it and end up with a photograph that without all the editing, is not very unique.

Post Production is an art because it takes a considerable amount of skills to be able to manipulate an image depending on what you hope the end result to be.

Some people like to do the least amount before and do the majority of their work Post Production, which if you were to see their photo side by side , one being as shot and one of the work they did in editing, they would look very different.

For me I like to use non - destructive editing, which means, to me, I do the most I can with what I have while shooting so when I do edit, I don't have to do much more than maybe correct a bright spot or a smudge from the camera lens.
